Paige Maasen
DVM, Director of Operations
Dr. Maasen graduated from Oklahoma State University College of Veterinary Medicine and has worked in small animal medicine in the Kansas City area since that time. She strongly believes in practicing preventive medicine for pets and making sure to involve each pet’s owner in determining the plan that is best for keeping their pet healthy and preserving their quality of life.

Lindsay Franz-Waltsak
DVM
Dr. Waltsak graduated from Kansas State University and has practiced in the Kansas City area since 2008. She loves developing relationships with pets and their families through good preventative care and communication; she additionally enjoys dentistry and diagnostics. Her favorite aspect of veterinary medicine is the privilege of caring for a pet though all stages of their life.

Bob Musil
DVM
Dr. Musil received his DVM from Kansas State University in 1980. He and his wife, Dr. Ilona Musil owned several practices in Arizona and later Overland Park. They merged their practice, Highland Animal Hospital, with Oxford Animal Hospital in 2016.

Emily Gaugh
DVM, MPH
Born and raised in the Kansas City area, Dr. Emily Gaugh (pronounced “Goff”) attended Kansas State University to obtain her DVM and also a Master’s in Public Health, emphasizing infectious disease and zoonosis. Prior to joining the Oxford team, Dr. Gaugh was located in Houston where she worked in a large general practice and 24-hour urgent care facility for 8 years.

Medical Operations Manager, RVT
Heather has been at Oxford Animal Hospital since 2007 and earned her Associate's degree in Veterinary Technology from Colby College in 2004. She is glad to be part of the team of caring technicians and staff members and enjoys learning new techniques about animal care.

Valerie Wright
Practice Manager
Valerie obtained her MBA through MidAmerica Nazarene University in 2013. Prior to coming to Oxford in 2019, she worked as a veterinary technician, assistant, receptionist, and hospital manager. She also spent time as a director in higher education. Her goal is to help facilitate great customer service for Oxford clients so they are better able to participate in managing their pet’s healt

Kirsten started at Oxford in August of 2019 as a kennel technician and shortly was cross-trained at the front desk. She joined Oxford's team after interning at Disney World in Orlando, Florida. Kirsten is currently a Vet Technician Student with a focus in Practice Management online at Penn Foster College

Heidi started as a CSR at Oxford in February 2018 after relocating from Manhattan, KS. She had no pets, but that quickly changed. Since then she's accumulated two orange tabby cats, Newt and JJ, who keep her pretty occupied when she's not at work.

Jan Hueben joined the Oxford Animal Hospital team in March 2014. She earned her Associate’s degree in Veterinary Technology from Maple Woods Community College in May 1992. She enjoys working with a dedicated and caring team that works together with owners to nurture the human/pet bond and to practice preventive medicine tailored to each pet’s lifestyle.

Cayley joined the Oxford staff in April 2017. She is currently attending Colby Community College to earn her degree in Veterinary Nursing. She enjoys working in anesthetic procedures, educating clients on wellness and preventative care, and bonding with patients.

Raegan has been with Oxford Animal Hospital since May 2019. She graduated from Crowder College and obtained her RVT in 2017. Raegan has worked with animals of all shapes and sizes from cattle to ball pythons to rats and has previously worked in emergency / specialty medicine.

Mary became a part of the Oxford Animal Hospital team in 2016. Always having a love for animals and a passion for helping them, she started with volunteering at Wayside Waifs and also at a clinic in Kansas Cirt, then obtaining a job as a Veterinary Assistant.

Kennel Manager/Trainer
Allee joined Oxford Animal Hospital in June of 2019, shortly after she graduated from Purdue University for studying animal behavior. She has been training animals since 2012 and has worked with a variety of animals which includes dogs, horses, cats, and even elephants.

Brandy lives with her significant other and their two cats. They have an old man with black fur who is our little vulture (he loves food!), and a sweet 2 year old girl who is obsessed with her favorite string (even though she has so many other toys). Brandy came to Oxford to learn and get more involved with veterinary medicine.

Sam joined Oxford Animal Hospital in August of 2019. When away from work, Sam likes to use her free time painting and spending time with her cat, Freya. Sam hopes to get more involved with helping and caring for animals and eventually become a Vet Tech.

Michelle has been a part of the Oxford Animal Hospital team for many years. Michelle loves working with the clients and pets that come into the hospital each day. When Michelle is not at Oxford, she is usually home taking care of her menagerie of animals.
